Over 15 years experience in information technology working in federal, military, and higher education environments. At the University of Michigan, I protect infrastructure and systems, and also staff, faculty, and students from malicious online threats. My areas of focus are cloud security, security operations, network security, and penetration testing. Other security work also include guidance on how to implement information security controls in various regulations including HIPAA, CUI, and FERPA, conducting and analyzing risk assessments on various systems, and creating security plans for critical systems and research projects.
